- Served as LIAISON for Board of Pardons and Paroles with community organizations, civic groups, members of Georgia General Assembly, and clergy in developing and fostering effective working relationships which would lead to a decrease in initial offenses and an increase in the success of offenders and parolees as they re-enter society
- Served as three term PRESIDENT of the Parole Association of Georgia
- Developed and implemented a statewide DRUG/VIOLENCE PREVENTION STRATEGY targeting adolescents and young adults as an initiative to prevent incarceration.
